Design Process - How to travel as a bussinesman- Cover and Inner sheet final print

Once I finished the cover design, I still wanted to see if I could incorporate the business card holder on the inner page of the front cover, to allow about 200 business cards to be carried with the book at all time,
As the cover was going to be printed on A3 it gave me a little room for maneuver to allow me to add this 55 x 85mm net attached to the front cover. i added 5 extra mm to the dimensions of the holder to allow the card to carry more than one business card.

It worked and held about 20 standard 55 x 85mm British business cards. but unfortunately we all agreed that maybe it was a little bit random  on it's own in the middle of the rear side of the cover, if we had more time I think I would have designed a little page to go around the business card holder, explaining what its for and maybe use some more info graphics. However considering our time limitations and the slight chance that it could go wrong and we would only get one chance to print it we have decided to leave the card holder out with the chance of involving it in future development.

Black and white version of final cover.

Printing the rest of the book.

THe abover 3 images are some printing mis-haps which we had to play around with to ensure the book would be printed in the correct order.
The rest of the book printed perfectly, the one problem with printing in the mac suites is the standard of print, the colour printed brilliantly but on some large areas of black or gray printed out a bit grainy, but for now until we get it printed properly it is something that we will just have to live with.
 Finished inner sheet prints.
The pages then had to be trimmed as we could also not print borderless copies on these printers, so we trimmed each page to the edge of the tabs which had to be dtaken into consideration when altering the dimensions of the front cover.

Each page was folded individually to ensure accurate folding.

This was our first insight into what the finished 30 guide would look like, and at this point we are very pleased, all we need to do now is print the cover and construct the final book.
