Indesign Workshop

In this weeks, tutorial of Adobe indesign, we were given an original layout in a hard copy format, and had to take measure and match layouts, grids, fonts and images to re create the original.
This involved physically measuring the hard copy with a ruler nd re producing the set grid in Indesign, this also links in with the type and grid session we did in design principles, both of these sessions are helping me understand the other one further.

Even though I know that Verdana is not the typeface found on the original, I feel it is a good match with many of the characters share similarities with that of the original

We also learnt how to share files from Photoshop to Indesign, either TIFF or PSD files must be used if a document is wanted to be used from photoshop, but only PSD files allow your images to have transparency, which allows you to text wrap the text around the image outlines rather than the border of the rectangular image box.
