Responsive // Jamie Jooste Brief

Jamie Jooste - Website

Jamie Jooste is a solo artist based down in Guildford - currently studying at ACM (Acadamy of Contemporary Music) She is in the process of writing and recording her up and coming EP - 'The Man is Always Right'

Brief

The brief hat has been set is to initially use the photography that she has acquired from a photo shoot in London earlier this year to create a series of Banners that can be used to promote her Facebook page as well as an album cover that all are based around a similar visual theme.

The EP follows the story of 5 female characters and each song explains the different stories of each character.

Initially these are the first photos that she would like to use as possible options for the banners and album cover.

Design must be simple and classy while also representing the personality of the artist, this is quite tricky as she doesn't really have a specific genres which her music falls under, but it is closer to Electro, pop, RnB.

Colour Scheme

Black - White - Red

Photography to be selected and used.

Below are the four images that were sent to use as the main visuals in the designs, I have been given the choice of which shots to use.

Fortunately the quality of the photography is already really high, so it really should take that long to create some design options that Jamie is happy with as the photography already does most of the work.

It will just be a matter of choosing a typeface and way of displaying the information required.

Information needed of Banners-

Currently as the album is not released until later this year, the information on the Banners is minimal and she just wants to incorporate her name 'Jamie Jooste'

Information on Album cover.

As this is still the early stages of the design process she only requires a basic idea and direction that the design will go in, the information on the cover is simply her name and the name of the album. however the brief will be on going and further products will need to be designed for promotion of EP and development of initial ideas.
